Formal Debates, A Reflection Exercise and the Closing Ceremony

Our third summer school at SWU in Bangkok, Thailand has officially come to an end. With a week-long intensive course and a conference on gender equality and higher education, this year’s program may have been our most ambitious program in Thailand yet! Please enjoy the latest and final video diary from Rachel, where she takes us through the last day of the summer school at SWU.

The students began the day by participating in formal debates, where they were able to practice their argument and persuasion skills. Following an informative session, the class then returned to their video projects. Rachel asked the students reviewed their group videos and personal video diaries to give the students the opportunity to track their progress and highlight areas to improve in the future.

After a reflection exercise, where students evaluated and debriefed from the week-long experience, SWU hosted the official closing ceremony of the 2019 PROWIBO summer school.

Many thanks to Rachel, Tessy, Dr. Sipim Sornbanlang, our conference panellists, the administration of SWU and the students for a fantastic program.
